Aloe Vera
Peter Sedufia’s ‘Aloe Vera’ has made a comeback in cinemas following the reopening of cinemas and theatres.
ALOE VERA which was originally released on March 6, 2020 was taken out of cinemas barely two weeks after a very successful record setting opening weekend following the coronavirus pandemic.
More than a year after the doors of cinemas were closed, the Peter Sedufia hit movie is one of the films that is set to welcome people back into the cinemas. ‘Aloe Vera’ started showing at the Silverbird Cinemas on Tuesday, June 22, 2021.
According to Peter Sedufia, “Aloe Vera is all about the ‘2 Ls’, Love and Laughter. Love should be the uniting force after the covid ‘storm’, a moment to laugh and appreciate one another”.

Synopsis
Divided by a line in one community are the families of Aloes and Veras. As sworn enemies who share a community, Aloes are taught to beware of Veras and vice versa. No family is allowed to cross the line that divides the town and if anything of one faction makes it to the other line, it calls for a fight. But what happens when the children of these sworn enemies fall madly in love? When an Aloe rejects the fellow Aloe ‘chosen’ for him and decides to continue the path of forbidden love.
